My name is Greg Scott… and I’m here to tell you the queer truth.

                                                   — Malcom Gregory Scott Washington, DC, 12 October 1991

Six years before congress implemented the compromised and compromising military personnel policy known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the United States Navy discharged Malcom Gregory Scott for homosexuality. In the quarter century since, Scott has explored the moral, political, and cultural boundaries of non-conforming sexuality — challenging the heterosexist presumptions of society as an activist, as a community organizer, as a writer, and as an AIDS survivor. This blog continues that exploration.
